LUXURY GHERARDINI BAG TO CELEBRATE 130 YEARS OF THE FASHION LABEL

Gherardini presents, to celebrate its 130th birthday, a special charity project related to its IT bag, the Zarina.
The historic Florentine fashion house that specialises in leather goods is auctioning this cult model that belongs to its heritage: an iconic bag, characterised by a rectangular shape with rounded corners, simple lines and a particular and iconic closure.

Gherardini has decided to auction this item to support Komen Italia

Conditions: This auction allows the user with the highest bid at the end of the online auction to obtain the right to participate by proxy at the Pink Tie Ball charity event on 15 December where the item will be auctioned. The highest bidder from the live auction will win the suit and in the event that the online auction bid was not exceeded, then the online user will be the winner. They may give permission in writing (email to [email protected]) for CharityStars to bid on their behalf, up to a maximum amount which will have been set by the user.

The Cause

Komen Italia has been active for 25 years in the fight against breast cancer throughout the country thanks to its 7 Regional Committees and collaboration with a vast network of "friend associations" in more than 100 cities.

Thanks to the passion and commitment of a dedicated staff and more than 2,000 volunteers and the support of many partners and representatives from the world of institutions, culture, sports, entertainment and communication, Komen Italia has been able to, among other things:

- Award study prizes to 277 young researchers

- Launch 65 multi-year projects to support women experiencing breast cancer

- Support financially the projects of 307 associations

- Establish 2 new clinical and educational spaces, the "Komen Italia Center for Integrated Therapies in Oncology" at the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome and the multipurpose space "Women at the Center" at the Bellaria Hospital in Bologna, to promote a medicine that takes holistic care of the sick person and not only of the disease
