Live Bid! Bottle of Borges Vintage Port, 1963 (Alto Douro)
Bottle of Borges Vintage Port, 1963 (Alto Douro)
This auction lot will be closed at the silent Purple Bee Ball charity auction on Friday 9 October 2015. Please read the Live Bidding Conditions below for more information.
This port is a very pale ruby that fades to a light pink at the edge. The nose is of plums and strawberries. Some nice carmalized flavours along with some very dark (almost overripe) plums, and almost no noticeable heat. The finish is not long, but not clipped either and there is a pleasant aftertaste of dates.
This auction lot has been donated to support Fiorina - Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund
