The Prize
The sinking of the RMS Titanic occurred on the night of 14 April through to the morning of 15 April 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean, four days into the ship’s maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. The largest passenger liner in service at the time, Titanic had an estimated 2,224 people on board when she struck an iceberg at around 23:40 on Sunday, 14 April 1912.
This auction is for a signed copy of the 'Last Survivor of the Titanic', accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. Also included in this package is an illustrated book and DVD about the Titanic.
The proceeds raised from this auction will support The Breast of Bromley and their fundraising efforts for Breast Cancer Now
Bidding Conditions: This auction allows the user with the highest bid at the end of the online auction to obtain the right to participate by proxy at The Breast of Bromley event on the 21st May 2016, where this item will be auctioned. The highest online bidder will be able to bid in the silent auction, by delegating CharityStars to bid on their behalf. The online highest bidder will be contacted by CharityStars after the online auction for their maximum bid. The highest bidder from the silent auction at the event will win the item and in the event that the online bidders maximum bid was not exceeded, then the online user will be the winner.
