Take home this beautiful painting, 'Paradise Falls', created by artist Jayshree Kapoor.

This stunning piece is made of real gold leaf along with mixed media on canvas.

Jayshree Kapoor’s creativity manifested itself in 80’s London whilst completing her degree, specializing in textile design.

Her works evoke the depiction of universal expression of spirituality; her paintings, spontaneously composed, are renowned for their vivid colours and textures. They are displayed in public and private collections worldwide and the artist received, in 2016, the Dayawati Modi award for her outstanding contribution to art and culture.

The Cause

Arts for India has been established with a number of specific aims to support underprivileged young artists in India.

While several philanthropic organizations are working towards education for poor Indian children, most of them are focused on providing basic school level education.

Arts for India lifts disadvantaged young Indian teenagers out of poverty through education in Art, Fashion and Cinema at the college level. Beyond that, they support these students, enabling them to make their contribution to the world of Art, Fashion and Cinema at a global level.

Arts for India runs a 4-year Scholarship Programme, where the donor/sponsor gets the opportunity to sponsor one needy student artist at the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA), India. The sponsor is kept in constant touch with the adopted student and at the end of the four years, the student presents four of their works to the sponsor as a token of appreciation and gratitude. We want to play our part in equipping India’s deserving artists of the future.
