After twelve years working with foreign trade through adverse situations, the life of Jotape made a complete 180 degree turn. Through the use of art, he rediscovered a new path in life to follow.

What started out first as a hobby with the sole purpose of relaxation, his art became a success after the art world discovered his abstract canvases displayed throughout his house in Miami in mid-2014.

From that point on, Jotape received many invitations to exhibit his work in art shows, and many collectors commissioned and bought his work. Even today, Jotape is still getting used to life as an artist and believes that this lifestyle can be completely harmonious with his essence.

The DOMPA project was created when there was a day Jotape did not have materials available to paint, but his passion for art gave him the solution. His artistic instinct is so powerful that he started to visualize his work on cardboard boxes as a form to express himself. Incredibly, he figured out a way to work with these materials and created a one-of-a-kind painting.

However, he was still lacking a method to insert a base for the painting. As he walked down the street and saw some wood pallets, Jotape decided to use them as the base for his paintings. DOMPA, a deeply personalized work of art, was created with an exclusive method and unusual touch that Jotape’s clients fall in love with.
