The Afobe Foundation

Set up in 2007 by English footballer Benik Afobe, The Afobe Foundation aims to build a support system and create hope for young orphans in situations of adverse poverty.

The foundation strives to create a safe environment for the most vulnerable children of Kinshasa, Congo and aims to branch out to aid underprivileged young people all around the world.

To achieve this mission, The Afobe Foundation helps as many as possible to have easier access to sanitation, nutrition, education, clean clothing, basic heath and social care and most importantly a loving shelter through their Drop In Centres and various other programmes.

Benik Afobe is a professional footballer currently playing for Premiership team AFC Bournemouth and representing England at international level. The charity was initiated as a means for Afobe to help those less fortunate than himself.
