Petra's Place

The new Petra's Place centres offer a child and family-centred responsive space where pre-school children with difficulties will receive an individual programme of support to develop strength and resilience before they enter the education system.

Early interventions are important to the future outcome of the child. A child’s foundation for language, social and emotional functions as well as their facility for perception and reasoning are formed in the first few years of life.

Families receive a warm home from home welcome at our friendly centres, which cater for only a handful of families at a time to give you the space and intimacy you need to thrive.

Our centres focus specifically on helping young children with difficulties such as those on the autistic spectrum. We help them to progress in an inviting and fun non-clinical environment. Very often nurseries will not have the time or resources to offer children specialist attention. Petra's Place is a haven for struggling parents who despair of finding the right support for their child.

The first of the Petra's Place therapy centres will open in 2018 in a newly refurbished and specially adapted property in Kensington & Chelsea, London.
