Fondazione Marcegaglia Onlus

Fondazione Marcegaglia Onlus is the participatory foundation created in 2010 by the Marcegaglia family.

The Foundation supports and promotes solidarity interventions and development cooperation projects to build a world in which social disparities are increasingly reduced and the role of women is enhanced. In each project, the Foundation works together with local partners to provide beneficiaries with the knowledge and tools to become architects of their social and economic development themselves.

In Italy the Foundation is committed to the issue of gender- based violence through the support of some anti-violence centers. It is also contributing to the establishment of an innovative initiative, the "Zeus Protocol", which provides a recovery path for abusive men encouraging their return within the law and avoid they will repeate acts of violence.
