“Next year we will have nearly 60,000 new breast cancer diagnoses.
Scientific research is essential to understand this disease and set up targeted treatments for every woman with the diagnosis. "

These are the words of Dr. CorradoTinterri, Director of Humanitas Breast Unit, who has been responsible for the care and life paths of many patients affected by breast cancer for years.

Humanitas Foundation for Research's Pink Union project tackles women's health. Pink Union is currently providing support to 5 cutting-edge research projects on female pathologies and is committed to raising awareness among women and in the community on the importance of prevention and early diagnosis, and to make people understand how the time factor is essential to fight disease.
One of Pink Union's scientific studies, coordinated by Doctor Tinterri, will be financed thanks to the sale of this precious item.

"In Italy, 87% of women who undergo breast surgery survive for a further 5 years. Our hope is to reach 100%. It is essential that prevention and research do not stop even at this time. "

Pink Union represents an accelerator of excellence for research and the culture of women's health.
It is one of the three major projects promoted by the Humanitas Foundation for Research, a non-profit organization of the Humanitas Group engaged in the study and treatment of some of the most serious diseases.
The Foundation supports over 300 researchers and 38 innovative projects and its President is Professor Alberto Mantovani, Scientific Director of Humanitas and professor at Humanitas University.
