FISI - Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali

The Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali (FISI) is the federation that organizes, promotes and coordinates the practice of winter sports in Italy.

Founded in 1908 with the name Unione Ski Club Italiani, this nonprofit organization has its headquarters in Milan and is affiliated with CONI, the Italian Olympic Committee.

FISI represents 16 disciplines, 10 of which are Olympic, and is active throughout Italy with 18 regional committees and delegations.

The Federation's impressive list of athletes has brought home a total of 101 Olympic medals, 350 World Championship medals, and a countless number of international successes.

Federation athletes, in cooperation with Pool Sci Italia, donate their autographed ski equipment, like helmets, skis and other unique memorabilia to charity.

Exclusive experiences in the champions' company are also auctioned off: overnight stays during the selection phases for the Alpine Skiing World Cup in Italy or a few days as a guest at the Gruppi Sportivi Militari (Military Sporting Groups) to spend a day with a great former champion or have a peek behind the scenes of world champion athletic training.

Make your donation and participate in this solidarity project along with your champions. All proceeds will go toward rebuilding the facilities and services supporting winter sports in the areas struck by earthquakes in Central Italy.

The FISI Federal Council will donate the funds at the end of the 2017/18 season.
