AICCA Onlus

AICCA Onlus was formed in April 2009, founded by doctors, surgeons and psycologists working in the Cardiology ward of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato and by the patients with Congenital Heart defects. The patient members of the charity are now helping, through their experiences, other people affected by these diseases.

The charity's goal is to raise awereness of such illnesses, which affect 100,000 people in Italy, and to provide an education to those people who are helping the patients.

AICCA helps people affected by Congenital Heart defects to transform their problem into a positive resource, helping people to overcome teen issues and make them become adults aware of their resources.

AICCA is a reference point in the patients daily life and a way to aggregate people with the same illness dislocated geographically and let them share their experiences and opinions.
