ADMO's goal is to inform the Italian population about the ability to fight leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers through bone marrow transplant and donation.

In Italy, many people need a transplant but the compatibility is very rare and is often found within the family. For those who don't have a compatible relative, the probability of finding a compatible bone marrow match is proportional to the number of registered donors who have similar genetic characteristics. 

Every year, Italy needs 1,000 new donors, a number which is constantly increasing.
