Communities In Schools of Los Angeles

At Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA), our vision is that every student in Los Angeles’ public schools receives the supports they need in order to develop the emotional, social, and learning skills required to graduate high school, ready for meaningful employment or higher education.

Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA) surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

CISLA fuels personal potential, so every student can take charge of their story and define their success in life.

CISLA believes that transformative relationships (not just caring) are key to unlocking a student’s potential. We will succeed by including in our strategies, ingraining in our culture, and reflecting on our behaviors, principles, and practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a result, we break down immediate and systemic barriers to create and sustain equitable outcomes.

We unlock potential, build relationships and break down barriers to deliver on the promise of who we are, why we exist and what we believe.
