The Suit of André Villas-Boas, last worn during the historic 3-2 victory against Manchester United!

T.M.Lewin provided the formal suits to all players and Head Coach, Andre Villas-Boas. This was an exclusive hand finished tailored suit by T.M.Lewin and was used as part of a new sartorial partnership from 2012 – 2013. It was last worn by AVB in the victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford. This historic game was the first win against Manchester United at Old Trafford since 1989. It was a pulsating encounter of high quality football played by two very strong sides with an own goal and goals from Gareth Bale and Clint Dempsey clinching the points for AVB's side.

This incredibly unique piece of memorabilia would make the perfect addition to any Tottenham Hotspur of AVB aficionado. It is a beautifully hand finished and tailored suit and would look fantastic on any Tottenham supporter. Also included is his trench coat!

The winner of this auction will receive the full suit of AVB and his famous trench coat. The suit has been dry cleaned. The sizes of the clothing are as follows:

The Cause

On the back of robust baseline research into the lack of community infrastructure in Bungoma, Western Kenya, the Community Based Organisation Ace Africa was born, engaging 4 staff and helping 400 beneficiaries in its first months of inception. Through their 53 indigenous staff in Africa, engaging over 4,000 community volunteers, they have helped over 650,000 children and their communities.

Ace Africa only works in communities where there is a real need, want and willingness to gain independent self-sufficient lives. The programme is long-term and bespoke to each community, reflecting local cultural, economic, political and environmental contexts focusing on all aspects of a child’s and community’s development. The Ace Africa approach is long-term (10-12 years) and bespoke to each project site they work in. Currently operating across 4 project sites, with plans to begin programming in 2 further sites in Tanzania during 2014, they have come to learn that there is no ‘one size fits all’. The programme is designed to fit the local cultural, economic, political and environmental contexts of the communities they work in across three key areas of Child Development, Community Health And Well-being and Community Livelihoods (Agriculture And Nutrition and Economic Empowerment).
