Dance Fashion For Charity

We all know how much the pandemic has marked our lives, no matter who we are and from  where we come.

So many people suffered by events that were out of control. People lost their work, their  freedom and, some of them, their own life.

Everyone was touched in one way or another.

And if some of us managed to start over again, others, amongst the most fragile human  beings, didn't.

Many people who suffer from chronic illnesses such as cancer were not given proper  treatment or medical care during the pandemic, because they were too high a risk to go into  a hospital in case they would be infected by the virus.

I know only too well, as I have been fighting cancer for 6 years and still fighting.

What I realised is the Dancing world has a big heart and helps people in difficulties even  though they are also in difficulty, since the dance world has been literally devastated from  the pandemic.

And I firmly believe that dance is a healer on so many occasions and for so many people:  that’s why, starting from this deep passion of mine, I decided to launch a Charity to help  people in need in oncology.

It is called Dance Fashion for Charity.

As I am the head judge on Dancing With The Stars in Italy, I have decided to sell all my  evening wear and with the money, donate to help the IDI Oncological department at  Sant’Andrea Hospital in Rome.

10 dresses exclusively made for me and the show, each with a dance theme.

Together with 5 famous Ateliers we have decided to take the first step and help, all working  for free including myself.

Here are the ateliers:

Vesa (London)

Chiara Boni (Milano)

Flash Dance (Roma)

Alfa Fashion (Napoli)

Lukry Fashion (Palermo)

If you want to purchase a dress or make a donation, all information will be found in my IG  Bio and you can contact me personally.
