The Cause

Every entry supports the charitable organisation Snowland Journeys, which reconnects families in Nepal.  In High Himalayan villages there is no education, so children are often sent away to school at five years old.  For ten years or more they are unable to see or speak to their parents, due to the remoteness of their villages.  Through their Reintegration Programme, Snowland Journeys enable these young people to return to their parents, communities and culture.  Snowland Journeys also help to build livelihoods for Himalayan communities so that in future children can be educated at home.

Adventure meets social value!

Keep up the good work enabling Nepalese children from the High Himalayas to access education, whilst continuing to maintain contact with their families and communities. Contact which is normally made difficult by the remoteness of their home villages. And then further supporting them as young adults, once their education is complete.
