The Goal
EVERY YEAR WE LOSE 15 BILLION TREES.
Once the planet's surface was covered by 6 trillion trees.
Today fewer than 3 trillion remain. Trees are our most important allies in the fight against climate change. They absorb CO2 through photosynthesis, they absorb pollutant gases, they are able to capture fine particulate matter emitted by human activity and they play an important role in the psycho-physical wellbeing of human beings.
These qualities produce even more significant positive effects when they happen within a forest ecosystem. Help us to make a difference in areas that are fundamental for the preservation of the world forest heritage!
