Usain Bolt is a former Jamaican sprinter, world record holder in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the 4×100-meter relay.

Nicknamed Lightning Bolt, in his career he won 8 Olympic gold medals and 11 world championships and is the only athlete in history to have won the gold medal in the 100 m flat and 200 m flat in three consecutive editions of the Olympic Games, as well as in three different editions of the world championships.

He set 100m World Record of 9.69 seconds to win Olympic track gold at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
