Daniele Cima is well known as an art director and graphic designer, among the leading figures in the creation of Italian graphics and advertising, and particularly appreciated for his ability to combine rigor and visual experimentation, constant search for original creative solutions and marked sensitivity for aesthetics.
Since the start of the new millennium he has mainly dedicated himself to pure art, through the creation of numerous series of artistic projects, characterized by original basic concepts accompanied by admirable graphic virtuosity.
Cima's entire artistic career has been marked by a continuous escape from the obviousness of normality and an elegant derision of the rules, which he comprehends perfectly. In February 2020 Rizzoli published the volume "My war versus the obvious", which documents 50 years of his work in the visual arts.
