Andrea Carrubba (Italia, 1984) è un fotoreporter e reporter indipendente con un interesse per le questioni sociali e umanitarie. Dopo l'Università ha studiato alla John Kaverdash Academy di Milano e si è laureato in Fotografia Professionale. Ha frequentato il War Reporting Training Camp, una formazione HEFAT specializzata per reporter che lavorano in aree di crisi.

Freelance dal 2012 ha pubblicato tra gli altri su Time, Washington Post, The Guardian, The Times, El Pais, Cnn, BBC, Los Angeles Times, Der Spiegel, The Telegraph, Vanity Fair, Die Zeit, The Atlantic, L'Obs, Al Jazeera, Internazionale, Vice e Rolling Stone.

Reporter più stretto per l'Agenzia Anadolu, ha lavorato anche come corrispondente di guerra per le emittenti televisive italiane RAI3 e LA7 e per il quotidiano Il Fatto Quotidiano.
