The Prize

"Un mondo di potere" by Anna Russo.

Features:

- Collection: the world in your hands
- Resin and acrylic sculpture
- Dimensions: 40 cm circumference x 54 cm height

Anna Russo is an Italian writer and visual artist. She has published novels with the most famous Italian publishing houses including Einaudi, Mursia and Salani.

She combines her love of literature with painting and sculpting talents to create real works of art. Pouring concrete and engraving words with knives on canvas, adding acrylic and playing with different materials in a constant search for new artistic dimensions. Her paintings are bas-reliefs with a different structure that gives them a dramatic emotional impact.

She cleverly engraves words from novels, poems and songs onto canvas, allowing her art to grow and evolve into fluid and legible paintings, with elegant and emotional calligraphy, the juxtaposition of lines, shapes and colors, creating works of art that are visually rhythmic.

Anna Russo's works of art include the collection of sculptures named "The world in your hands": each world she forms has a unique design and represents a different emotion and mood. Each world communicates an ideal human condition, a vision or a desire to be fulfilled.

She currently lives and works in Milan, all her works are handmade and created in her studio, where she makes bespoke pieces and continues to experiment with new media and design.

Anna's works are exhibited in the most prestigious galleries and showrooms in Italy, Europe and the Far East. An entire collection of her artistic career is on display at the Binario 21 Museum in Milan, Italy.
