Samuel Yves Umtiti (born 14 November 1993), known as Samuel Umtiti, is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Lecce, on loan from La Liga club Barcelona. He was vice champion in 2016 and world champion in 2018 with the French National Team. His role is centre-back and he is left footed. Physically strong, he is skilled in blocking attacks and advancing.
