The Prize

Udinese Calcio was established on November 30, 125 years ago.

To celebrate this imporant milestone, the Club and Macron have presented a new Anniversary shirt, the third kit for the 2021-2022 season. The shirt celebrates the club's history with logos that have featured on black and white kit over the years. The shirts were worn by the first team on Sunday November 28, the 14th matchday of Serie A, for a match against Genoa at the Dacia Arena.

The Third shirt is completely black with a round neck. The backneck has been personalized with the club logo on a black background and the words 125 YEARS OF PASSION with the tone-on-tone dates 1896-2021 on the outer. The front of the shirt is characterized by a tone-on-tone wide vertical central band containing the logos that have marked Udinese Calcio's many seasons. Starting with the star on the chest from the first 1896 formation (black shirt, white trousers and black socks), moving from the early club logos to the current one.

On the righthand side of the chest in white silicone print appears Macron Hero, logo of the Italian brand, while on the left is the Udinese Calcio logo specially designed for this historic season complete with reference to the club's year of foundation, 125 years of history and the classic inverted black V. The kit is complete with black shorts with white drawstring and black socks with a narrow white stripe on the upper edge.

From Tuesday all the shirts worn by Udinese Calcio against Genoa will up for auction on CharityStars with the proceeds going to offer support over the festive period to La Nostra Famiglia in Pasian di Prato (UD), an association dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, with a particular focus on children.

The Cause

The "Udinese per la Vita" nonprofit association was established on May 9, 1998 by Giuliana Linda Pozzo.

This is the first nonprofit organization by an Italian football club whose purpose is the incentive and support, through the collection of funds and other initiatives, of professional training in health, social welfare and scientific research. There have been several interventions in support of scientific research and health in general in the Friuli region in the form of the purchase of high-tech scientific equipment.

In recent years, the charity has made donations to the University Hospital Santa Maria della Misericordia di Udine, the Gervasutta di Udine Rehabilitation Center, the Nemo Institute (with the donation of a particular piece of sophisticated scientific equipment named "percussionaire," which improves the respiratory treatment for many people with neuromuscular pathologies), the Pordenone General Hospital, and the Moretti Park with new sports equipment. Recently the nonprofit organization, with the support of Magda Pozzo, Simona Ventura and Umberta Gnutti Beretta, and in collaboration with Lega Serie A, organized the project "La famiglia del pallone," thanks to which 30 children from different "family homes" were able participate in the City Camps organized during the month of June by Udinese Calcio.
