Take home Mattia Gaspari's skeleton ski suit.

Mattia Gaspari, 26 years old, from Cortina took Bronze medal at the Altenberg 2020 Skeleton World Championships. Up for auction is the ski suit, signed with dedication, worn by the Italian national athlete on March 1, 2020, the day he achieved an extraordinary feat for his country by bringing home Italy's first ever world medal in the history of the skeleton race!

Cortina d'Ampezzo is home to one of the "classic" stages of women's World Cup Alpine skiing and will host the Alpine Ski World Championships from 7 to 21 February 2021.

A long-running sporting tradition that sees some of the greatest athletes compete. This year would have seen the return of men's skiing in Cortina, 30 years after the last historic race was won by Kristian Ghedina on domestic slopes. The World Cup Finals were set to run from March 18 to 22 but the event had to be canceled due to the Codiv-19 emergency in order to protect the health of everyone involved.

In this difficult situation that has affected the whole country, the Cortina 2021 Foundation has decided to offer its support to fight the Codiv-19 virus by donating this lotThe proceeds will be donated to Belluno Hospital for the purchase of medical equipment needed for assisted breathing.
