Diego Tristán Herrera (born 5 January 1976 in La Algaba) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a forward. Raised in the youth team of Betis Sevilla, he was launched into big football by Mallorca. In 2000 the turning point came at Deportivo la Coruña, where he immediately began scoring, winning the Pichichi championship, a Spanish Cup and two Spanish Super Cups. In 2006 he returned to Mallorca for a season, before moving on to Livorno, West Ham and finishing his career at Cadiz.
