The Prize

Take home this splendid work created by the artist Mercury in just 20 copies worldwide. The artwork created using mixed media, starting from a hand-drawn base that is then digitized and finished, features the legendary Bart and Homer Simpson in the center intent on painting "The flower thrower" on the wall.

As the real identity of the artist Banksy remains unknown, in this work the artist Mercury had fun imagining that the two Simpsons were behind the mural that appeared in 2005 in Jerusalem.

The work is printed on special cardboard and bears the artist's signature and the progressive number on the back.

Mercury - a pseudonym to protect the talented artist's real idenity - is famous and esteemed both in Italy and throughout the world and his works are displayed in a number of private collections. His favourite subjects include the celebrities of the world of music and cinema, often depiected in distinctive shades of blue. The artist tends to donate his works for charity throughout the world.

On 25th September 2021, Mercury's works were on display in Italy for the first time in his career in a collective exhibition that boasted the esteemed patronage of Sandra Milo.

Features:
- Print: 20 numbered pieces signed on the back
- Dimensions 21 cm × 29,7 cm (approx.)
- Technique : Mixed media artwork (digital + hand drawing)

Please note: The colors in the photograph of the work may differ from those show on the display.
