Artista eclettico, sperimentatore. Si "diverte" con la sua arte a far nascere dal nulla ciò che pare non esistere dapprima ma che si palesa attraverso molteplici trasformazioni materiche e progressive metamorfosi attraverso un percorso di disvelamento graduale.
La tela nera che fa da base all'opera in oggetto rappresenta il punto di partenza per una creazione materica fatta di gesso che, sgretolandosi, dà luogo ad un'apparizione sorprendente. Il volto sofferente si rivela in tutta la sua intensità all'occhio di chi, stupefatto, lo scorge all'improvviso e ne percepisce e compenetra l'intensa espressione di dolore. Quest'opera pare rappresentare plasticamente la riflessione sul miracolo e sul mistero perenne dell'esistenza umana, sempre sospesa tra l'estasi e il dolore, tra l'infinito e il contingente. Tra il grande respiro della vastità senza confini e l'angusto muoversi in uno spazio limitato.
