"I propose this work of a community relating to heaven. A community fighting invisible events. The image I started from belongs to the collection of experiments made by Graham Bell in 1904 to create the first large tetrahedral kites from which planes were developed".

Francesco Pedrini has chosen heaven as his area of ​​interest. His research relates to astronomy, meteorology and iconographic research of historical archives.

His most recent solo shows were held at the Galleria Milano in via Turati and at the Susanne Albrecht Gallery in Berlin. Other solo shows have been held at the Galleria Martano in Turin, at the Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad in Buenos Aires, at the Tirana Institute for Contemporary Art and in group exhibitions in numerous galleries and institutions including the Rimini Biennale of design, the Buziol Foundation in Venice, Merano Arts Festival, at the Tophane Culture Center in Istanbul.

This lot is part of the #MolaMia artists initiative in support of Bergamo Hospital involving over 20 contemporary Italian artists who have joined forces for a fundraising campaign to fight the coronavirus emergency that has seriously affected the city and the province of Bergamo.
