The Prize

Bid on this limited edition Tag Heuer McLaren Mercedes S watch. Only 500 pieces have been produced; this is number 498/500, one of the last pieces made.

The original value in 1998, when they were made, amounted to over 6,000 pounds. This collection of watches was created to celebrate the victory of the Formula 1 World Championship by McLaren Mercedes.

The watch, still in perfect condition, is accompanied by an illustrated book with the most emblematic images of the history of Mercedes. It has not been used and is contained within its original box.

The model number is CG117.BA0423.

The display measures 65 x 47 x 20 cm and weighs 30 kg.

The set includes:

  • Tag Heuer McLaren Mercedes S / EL 498/500 watch with the signatures of Ron Dennis, Norbert Haug, David Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen
  • 12 large photographic prints of Mercedes, 4 of which are signed by Mercedes legends Hans Herrmann, Stirling Moss, David Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen
  • Display containing the Mercedes model cars of drivers Stirling Moss, Coulthard and Hakkinen and parts of the 1998 McLaren (used oil, rubber from a tire, part of the car chassis, part of the engine).
