Knight Rider - Kitt's license plate signed by William Daniels.

Rare metal replica of the license plate from the famous Kitt car, star of the TV series Knight Rider, signed on the front by his original voice, the great American actor William Daniels! Mr. Daniels has signed this plate and other material for History Life to help with important charitable projects in 2021.

In 1967 he played the role of Benjamin Braddock's father (Dustin Hoffman) in Mike Nichols' The Graduate. In the same period he also established himself on the small screen as the star of the Captain Nice series, in which he played the role of Carter Nash, a police chemist with an intrusive mother, who discovers a formula capable of developing special powers that transform him in the title superhero.

In the US he is best known for lending his voice to Kitt, the futuristic car featured in the TV series Knight Rider. He also appeared in Boy Meets World, a children's television series produced by Disney, and he played Dr. Mark Craig in the telefilm St. Elsewhere, a role that earned him two Emmys.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
