The superbike teams have joined forces to offer their support to the EMERGENCY hospital in Sierra Leone to mark the organization's 25th anniversary.

The British Team Pata Yamaha motorbike racer has chosen to lend his support to EMERGENCY and the patients at the Goderch Surgical and Paediatric Centre in Sierra Leone by donating one of the racing boots he wore for the  weekend of World Superbike Championship 2019 held in Portimao, Portugal. Lowes competed on a Yamaha YZF R1, placing third. 

Alex Lowes, who took his first Superbike World Championship win during the Czech Republic round in 2018, is competing for Yamaha for the fourth year running.
