Born in Catania in 1961, the freelance photographer and graphic designer Tony Leone develops subjects from movies and recognizable artwork in his photos. These photos are a true artistic operation where the mix between photography and other arts (cinema, pop art and photography itself) complement each other, creating a very personal irony and highly cultured language. He has won numerous prizes and awards at the national and international level. Among the most significant are his exhibitions at the Palace of Culture in Catania, Photoluxfest in Lucca, MarteLive Biennale at Macro in Rome, the Art Takes Times Square in New York. His images have aroused considerable interest, with their publication in prestigious journals and photography sites such as Photo, Focus, Photoburst, National Geographic, and Repubblica.
Cooperativa Sociale INsegnando's goal is to create jobs and inclusion in the community through sports, culture, art and education. Inclusion needs to be taught through communication, even that of sign language. The charity is inspired by the principles of the Italian and International cooperative movement—solidarity, democracy, commitment, responsibility and community. Currently, we are working with children who have Down Syndrome to improve their motor skills through five-a-side soccer. We're also going to open a Futsal academy and an inclusive multidiscipline center.
