The match played at the Mâs Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires on 28 March 2001 ended 5-0 to Argentina. Sorín scored the goal that took his team to 2-0.

Juan Pablo Sorín is an Argentine sports manager and former footballer, who played as a full-back or midfielder, sporting director of Cruzeiro. He is the only player who can boast winning the main continental club cup in the same season with two different teams: the UEFA Champions League with Juventus (1995/96) and the Copa Libertadores with River Plate (1996). Over the course of his career he played for numerous clubs, including Juventus, River Plate, Lazio, Barcelona, ​​Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal.

The item comes from the private collection of Argentine former midfielder René Houseman.
