Nestled in a wing of the cellar projected by Renzo Piano and immersed in the silence interrupted only by the sounds of nature, Rocca di Frassinello Guesthouse is a place suspended in time where you can enjoy an authentic travel experience in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. If you are traveling as a couple, this is the ideal place to spend unforgettable moments of intimacy, watching romantic sunsets over the rolling hills, sipping a glass of wine, and be overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of the starry skies thanks to the total absence of light pollution.

The experience comprises:

- 1 night in a Superior Room at the Foresteria di Rocca di Frassinello with continental breakfast included
- 1 voucher for two people for the Rocca Classic Experience wine tasting
- One hour to immerse yourself in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, discovering the wines of Rocca di Frassinello. The guided tour starts from the majestic terracotta terrace, with a 360 ° view of the Maremma hills, continues to the suggestive Barricaia carved into the rock, where up to 2,000 barrels are stored in the dark; continues to the wine cellar and then the adjacent rooms, where the Etruscan Documentation Center is located, which exhibits the findings of the Necropolis of San Germano discovered within the estate. The tour ends with a guided tasting of 4 Maremma Toscana DOC wines in the modern Pavillon.

The experience, valid for two people, is subject to the availability. Validity: from April 2022 to October 2022 (period of winter closure: November, December, January and February).

The Cause

The IEO-MONZINO Foundation is the only one that exclusively and directly supports the clinical and experimental research of the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiology Center: for almost 30 years, its goal has been to identify the best treatments and support innovative projects through a virtuoso that allows, in total transparency and without waste, to make available to patients what researchers discover in the laboratory.

Research funding is confirmed to be strategic for the work of the doctors and scientists who work at the IEO and Monzino, so that the progress and results achieved in the laboratory can be quickly transformed into more personalized treatments, and translate into increasingly effective diagnostic systems .

The priority commitment of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation is therefore to further strengthen fundraising so as to make precious resources available in support of the research of excellence carried out by IEO and Monzino and to allow its work to continue and over the medium/long term.
