The charity match organized in the splendid setting of the Foro Italico in Rome saw the team led by Francesco Totti, face off in 6 against 6 with former Portuguese champion Luis Figo. Numerous champions were present, including Aldair, Pirlo, Tommasi, Cassano, Zambrotta, Pires, Salgado, Materazzi and many others. The match ended 17-11 to Figo's team.

Francesco Totti is an Italian former footballer, who played as a striker or midfielder, world champion in 2006 and European runner-up in 2000 with the Italian national team. Considered one of the best Italian players of all time and one of the strongest in the world of his generation, over the course of his competitive career he always played for Roma, a team for which he was captain from 1998 to 2017, for a record total of 19 seasons, winning a Scudetto (2000/01, the third in the club's history), two Italian Super Cups (2001 and 2007) and two Italian Cups (2006/07 and 2007/08).
