"Senza Titolo" by Marcello Mondazzi.

Features:

Born in Pratola Peligna (L’Aquila) in 1954, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and the Upper Secondary Institute for Graphic Arts in Urbino.
In 1976 he earnt the role of lecturer in Advertising Graphics at the State Art College in Pomezia (Rome).
In 1983 he was invited for a personal exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art in Verona by Filiberto Menna.
From the same year he has been constantly included in public and privare galleries; Giuliana De Crescenzo Art Studio; “Il Collezionista” – Rome, are just a couple of those that have represented fundamental moments in his career. During the 1980s he was also renowned abroad through his personal exhibitions: Germany, The Netherlands, France, Spain, the United States, Brazil and more recently in Argentina.
At the same time, he participated in four editions of the F.I.A.C. in Paris, Art Jonction International, Nice, “FORUM” Hamburg.
In 1993 he took part with a number of pieces in the “Art Faire” in Chicago.
Since 1993 he has worked on “fixed installations” in public and provate areas, creating cycles of works focussing on the relationship between architecture, painting and sculpture.

The Cause

La Fondazione Lega del Filo d’Oro nasce nel 1964 e in oltre 55 anni di impegno è diventata il più importante punto di riferimento in Italia per le persone sordocieche e pluriminorate psicosensoriali e le loro famiglie. Oggi la Fondazione è presente a livello nazionale in 10 regioni, con le strutture residenziali e servizi territoriali di Osimo (AN), Lesmo (MB), Modena, Molfetta (BA) e Termini Imerese (PA) e con le sedi territoriali di Novara, Padova, Pisa, Roma, Napoli.

Dal 2017 una nuova struttura ad Osimo, progettata su misura per le persone sordocieche, permette alla Lega del Filo d’Oro di migliorare la qualità dei servizi, diventando un polo all’avanguardia per la riabilitazione delle persone con disabilità sensoriale.

Reso funzionale il cuore delle attività del nuovo Centro, la Fondazione è ora impegnata al completamento del progetto. Sono già iniziati i lavori per la realizzazione del secondo lotto che permetterà il trasferimento complessivo dei servizi, nonché un ulteriore aumento della capacità di accoglienza.
