Stéphane Ruffier (born 27 September 1986 in Bayonne) is a French former football goalkeeper. On 30 June 2006, after his loan to Aviron Bayonnais, he returned to Monaco where he played for 5 seasons. On 11 July 2011, following Monaco's sensational relegation to Ligue 2, he moved to Saint-Étienne for a fee of around €8 million. On 4 January 2021, after having played there for 10 seasons, the management communicated to the goalkeeper the decision to terminate his contract in advance, expiring on 30 June 2021.
