Arjen Robben (born 23 January 1984) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a forward. Considered one of the strongest footballers of his generation, as well as one of the strongest wingers ever, over the course of his career he played for Groningen, PSV, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, winning numerous national and international titles. With the Dutch national team he competed in three European Championships and three World Cups, becoming world runner-up in 2010. On an individual level, he entered the list of candidates for the Ballon d'Or five times, three of which consecutively.
