"Remords Postume" (Posthumous Regrets) is a praise for living in harmony with yourself and the environment, including the nature ... This is a state of grace, finding a balance in forgiving yourself, making sure in the end to have no regrets and love what we have done.

The artist:

Cécile Guicheteau, 1974 Cholet (FR), is a contemporary artist. Graduated in art at the Pivaut institute in Nantes, for years she works in Paris as a decorator for television and collaborates with numerous galleries. In 2008 she published "Tortueuse Fantasy", with Michel Archimbaud, author of the last interviews with Francis Bacon. She has made several exhibitions abroad: Italy, USA, Canada, Japan and the Grand Palais in Paris. In 2016 she realized a permanent exhibition at the Di Tucheng Museum in China after spending 45 days in an artistic residence. In 2017/2018 she exhibited at the Torre dos Cielos gallery in Japan and then became the winner (2019) of the UNESCO Open-Air Museum project, in Praiano, on the Amalfi Coast. Her works are in museums and private collections.

She says about herself: I don't try to be a witness of my time, I don't try to denounce anything, the universe that I express is part of my inner world, from writings or legends. All this comes through me and ends up on the canvas together with what I live. For some time now I have been trying to forget what I have learned in such a way as to let my childish hand guide my work.

The Cause

The "Together for Fily" association was set up because we, the parents, wanted to continue what our son had started.
The main purpose of the association is to help children and teenagers suffering from tumors or other serious illnesses by putting a smile on their faces. The joy of giving emotions, respite or distraction to sick children, especially on cancer wards, is something indescribable. We want to give young patients something else to think about instead of spending hours looking at the drips and the chemotherapy trolleys.
It doesn't take much to change a young patient's day: a gift, a surprise or an unexpected gesture of kindness.
We want to help parents who are caring for children and suffering as they try to be strong for their loved ones.

We are Filippo's parents and we spent 14 months at the "Center for Tumors in Milan. We experienced a period that allowed us to touch suffering first hand. We understand the needs that both children and parents have at a time like that. We want share our experience to help others: if we can support parents who are suffering we'll be keeping Filippo's memory and smile alive.

The Association encourages community solidarity and carries out charitable activities and social and health assistance for children and teenagers affected by cancer or other serious illnesses, by bringing gifts, organizing trips, visits and leisure days for young patients and their parents.
