"Quel che Resta" by Rita Casdia.

Polymer Clay
13 cm x 43 cm x 0,5 cm
2020

A harmonious silhouette minimizes what remains of the bodies. The masculine and feminine essence becomes a single transfigured image, symbol of two thickened, filamentous units. This inextricable dual relationship can be touched with your eyes.

Rita Casdia was born in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, in the province of Messina in 1977. She graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo and then moved to Milan, where she obtained a specialist degree in New technologies for art at the Fine Arts Academy of Brera. She currently lives and works in Milan.

Rita has exhibited in several famous Italian galleries, both in personal and collective exhibitions: from the Nuvole Incontri d'Arte in Palermo to the Castello di Livara in Turin, the NOTgallery Napoli and the Catholic University of Brescia.

Project by Olimpia Rospigliosi curated by Bohdan Stupak. Between 14 and 22 July it will be possible to view the works exclusively on appointment at the Studio Rospigliosi in Piazza Borromeo 10 in Milan, Italy.
