The Prize

Four puppets used by the band from Caparezza during the Museica tour in the song "Figli d'Arte".

The puppets have the names of the four members of the band: Alfredo, Gaetano, Diego and Giovanni.

Museica is the sixth studio album by Italian rapper Caparezza, released on April 22, 2014 by Universal Music Group.

Released three years later by Il sogno eretico, it is the first album by the Apulian artist to have reached number one in the ranking of the best-selling albums in Italy.

The title of the album is the result of a cross between the words "music" (being an album), "museum" (since each song is inspired by a work of art) and "sei" (it is the sixth album by the Apulian artist).

The album travels between art and violence: according to Caparezza «most of the things that animate this land are the result of violence. To escape the restlessness of living, we try to build a parallel reality, we create an ideal world; art is salvific".

In October 2014 the album was included in the shortlist for the Targa Tenco as "album of the year", winning the prize.

The proceeds from this auction will go entirely to promote initiatives in support of neonatal care and research in collaboration with the association No.P.A.I.N (in the aid of newborns).

The Cause

Safe access to the beach to spend a relaxing day with friends and family members, even for those affected by neuromotor disorders - this is the main objective of the project “IO POSSO Tutti al mare… per chi ci sta e con la SLA!” ("I can go to the beach, even with my ALS!"), invented by Gaetano Fuso, who was affected by the syndrome and was the main motivator of the slogan "I Can!", a persuasive motto for overcoming the disease every day!

The designed access points guarantee people with ALS and other neuromotor difficulties (up to a maximum number of 9) the chance to access the beach in total freedom, assisted by qualified personnel. The service is completely free, every day of the summer season between 9 am and 7 pm.

There is also a paramedic kit to support the staff in case of emergency (three mechanical pulmonary fans, two surgical aspirators, an oxygen therapy device and a defibrillator). All of these devices, usually only available to patients at home, are now available on the beach! The project includes a specially-trained lifeguard to check the beach and seashore.
