"I hardly recognize the world. Not that I ever really understood it, but now ... everything seems different to me."

Born in Mirandola in 1958, Alfredo Pini, after having worked for years as an accountant, abandoned this activity to devote himself to painting, his true passion. In the 1980s the Lacerba gallery opened in Ferrara, which he continues to manage today. From 1993 he began collaborating with various art galleries and participating in art fairs, also collaborating with publishing houses such as the German Rainermann, illustrating books, magazines and posters across northern Europe.

He as displayed his works in many exhibitions in Italian art galleries such as Ferrara, Turin, Padua, Naples, Bologna and Genoa. In addition, he exhibits at important art fairs, such as Artissima in Turin and Arte Padova, as well as in galleries in Barcelona, Lugano, Vienna as well as in California, Belgium and in the Principality of Monaco.
