The Prize

"Gigi Buffon" artwork created by Antonio "Shades" Agee.

The Juventus goalkeeper has signed the artwork, making it a truly special piece. It has also been signed on the back by graffiti aritst "Shades".

Antonio “Shades” Agee, a passionate Detroit native and public figure, was an active participant in the creation of the Detroit graffiti scene as one of the first documented graffiti artists in the city.

Growing up in the Motor City, “Shades” has drawn invaluable influence from his father, a successful jazz musician. Being surrounded by the sounds of legends like Nat “King” Cole and Frank Sinatra shaped his early years, implanting an appreciation for the arts while inspiring further creativity. Always intuitively attracted to the graphic arts, “Shades” explored ways to express his work throughout the streets of Detroit.

Over the years, “Shades” has integrated his cultivated array of techniques and styles with his old school urban flair, resulting in stunning visuals and colorfully complex compositions. This talent has provided opportunities for “Shades” to produce his graffiti on an international scale, from custom murals and canvases to commissions and sponsorships.

As a prominent force in the evolution of graffiti as a world-renowned art form, “Shades” continues to challenge himself with new and exciting opportunities.

The Cause

Insuperabili Onlus is a new organization for promoting sports among special needs children, started in Turin. Its team of experienced professionals is constantly engaged in the promotion of team sports like soccer to help children overcome cognitive, relational, emotional, behavioral and physical challenges.

A network of Soccer Schools - known as Insuperabili Onlus Academies - has been created throughout Italy. It aims to spread its philosophy and work methodology by guaranteeing a quality service for children with special needs directly in their cities. During the soccer season there's a strong relationship with the Academies thanks to the constant training of the Total Sport technical team. Small groups of 15-year-old boys and girls are supervised by technical and psychological head coaches.
