Unique artwork from stencil artist C215, framed and signed at the back by the artist. Portrait of the Chinese sailor Guo Chuan who died at sea in 2016.

Painted on a sail donated by the Monaco Yacht Club and realized with the support of the agency SPREAD !T • SPORT & STREET ART, the first sport and street-art agency.

This original artwork has been realized and showcased in the framework of the 10th Peace and Sport International Forum.

About the artist :

Christian Guémy, also known as C215 is a Parisian street artist focused on stencil graffiti. Born in 1973, C215 started spray painting in 2005 and is today one of the finest, and most productive stencil artists on the street art scene.

The Cause

“Peace and Sport, L’Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport” (known as Peace and Sport) was founded in 2007 by Modern Pentathlon Olympic medallist and world champion Joel Bouzou, who is the current President of the organization.

It works for sustainable peace, throughout the world.

To achieve this, it promotes the practice of structured sport and sporting values to educate young generations and help foster social stability, reconciliation and dialogue between communities.

An international initiative at the service of peace, Peace and Sport intervenes in areas made vulnerable by extreme poverty, recent conflict or lack of social cohesion.

A neutral and independent organization based in Monaco, Peace and Sport is a global initiative under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
