ART IN A BOX II - PAINT YOUR TORCH SONG is a charity art project featuring original artwork by famous names from the worlds of music, comedy and TV. The participating artists each received a bespoke art box containing all the materials needed to create the painting. The theme for the paintings was 'Torch Songs’ - inspirational songs that we turn to when times are tough and that help guide us out of the dark.

Vic Reeves' work has been inspired by the song "Poor Murdered Woman" by Shirley Collins.

Jim Moir (aka Vic Reeves) is a comedian, artist, actor and television presenter, best known for his double act with Bob Mortimer as Vic and Bob. Jim and Bob are currently shooting another series of their hugely popular Show Vic & Bob’s Big Night Out.
