The Prize

Don't miss your chance to have the 'What More Can I Do?' singer Jack Savoretti record a video performance just for you!

You will have the opportunity to choose a song from a pre-selected list and Jack will create an amazing rendition of your selection. It will be up to the artist how they wish to record the performance,  making this a creative and bespoke offering from each artist to their  loyal fan-base.

The Italo-English songwriter has released 6 albums to date, the last 3 of which all reached gold album status and the most recent became his first UK #1. Having collaborated with an incomparably diverse roster of icons from Bob Dylan to Kylie Minogue, he combines a unique mixture of 70s Mediterranean chanson with the Laurel Canyon music sounds. He is currently working on his new album due out in 2021.

Savoretti joins Annie Lennox by standing in solidarity with The Circle's fundraising appeal to support some of the world’s most vulnerable women and girls. The Circle has long been there for the world’s most vulnerable women and will continue to do so at a time of even greater urgency.

The video will be sent to the winner before November 30th, 2020. The performance will be made available to the winner subject to the following conditions:

  • The recording of the performance and all copies of it will remain the property of the Artist at all times.
  • The winner will be granted a non-exclusive licence to use the recording for the winner’s own personal, private, non-commercial use.
  • The winner shall not be entitled to use the recording for advertising or promotional purposes.
  • The winner shall not post the recording on social media.
  • The licence granted to the winner may be terminated by the Artist if the winner fails to comply with these conditions.

The Cause

The Circle, founded by Annie Lennox in 2008, brings together women from all walks of life so that they can learn about the injustices and inequality facing many millions of women and girls around the globe, inspire, be inspired and ultimately take action to bring about change.

They believe in a world where women and girls are empowered, self-reliant, and able to influence the decisions that affect their lives.

They campaign and advocate for equal opportunities and the ability to realise fundamental rights, raise funds to support women's rights and work in partnership with like-minded organisations which are already doing exceptional work.

The Circle to date has supported over 160,000 women and girls in more than 16 countries.  This has been done through using the income raised by the women members of The Circle and through the advocacy work they have undertaken such as publishing reports on the implementation of the Maputo Protocol in Kenya and the fundamental right to a Living Wage in the garment industry.

The Circle's vision is equality for women and girls in a fairer world.

Funds from this auction will support The Circle’s emergency Covid appeal.
