This exclusive Gala Evening is promoted by Genoa Cfc and EVIVA featuring cardholders and technical staff.

This is the conclusion of their fundraising with proceeds supporting a new C.A.B.E.F. (Centro Accoglienza Bambino e Famiglia) service activation. C.A.B.E.F. is a reference and support centre for parents and family members who go to the Ligurian city with their children, seeking medical treatments for them.

The Cause

Il Sen. Gerolamo Gaslini, con atto a rogito Notaio G.B. Schiaffino del 28/11/1949, costituisce la Fondazione Gerolamo Gaslini destinandole come sede la sua residenza di Corso Italia n. 26 e donandole, ancora in vita, tutto il suo consistente patrimonio.

Si completava così il progetto ideato dallo stesso Fondatore ed iniziato con la costruzione dell’Istituto Pediatrico Giannina Gaslini di Genova inaugurato nel 1938.

Oggi la Fondazione Gaslini continua a gestire le attività che costituiscono l’ingente patrimonio, che vengono incrementate anche con donazioni ed acquisizioni, devolvendone i redditi a favore del predetto Istituto.

"Scopo della Fondazione Gaslini è quello di devolvere le proprie rendite ed occorrendo i propri beni, alla cura, difesa ed assistenza dell’infanzia e della fanciullezza ed in particolar modo al potenziamento dell’Istituto di ricovero e cura a carattere scientifico Giannina Gaslini."

Annualmente il Consiglio di Amministrazione della Fondazione decide l'ammontare dell'erogazione da destinare agli scopi istituzionali.

La Fondazione ha inoltre promosso la costituzione del CISEF (Centro Internazionale Studi e Formazione "Germana Gaslini") mettendo a disposizione il complesso immobiliare sito in Via Romana della Castagna a Genova-Quarto, ex Villa Quartara, completamente ristrutturato dalla Fondazione stessa ed attrezzato per lo svolgimento di attività formative al più alto livello nel settore sanitario, contribuendo altresì ai costi di gestione.
