The ball has been signed byImoco Volley Conegliano players including Paola Egonu, Lara Caravello, Rose Plummer, Megan Courtney, Bozana Butigan, Robin de Kruijf, Rapahela Folie, Loveth Omoruyi, Monica De Gennaro, Hristina Vuchkova, Giorgia Frosini, Giulia Gennari, Joanna Wolosz, Myriam Sylla and Sarah Fahr, making it a unique collector's item.

Founded in 2012, Imoco Volley reached the final in its first championship. In the 2015/16 season, after winning the regular season, it won it first trophy, namely the Scudetto, followed in the following season by success in the Italian Super Cup and the Italian Cup, as well as reaching the final in the Champions League. In the 2017/18 season it won its second Scudetto, while in the following season it won its second Super Cup and third Scudetto, losing the Champions League final for the second time. In the 2019/20 season it won its third Super Cup, the World Club Championship and its second Italian Cup, while in the following year it won the Super Cup for the fourth time, the national cup for the third time and the Scudetto and became European champion for the first time. The 2021/22 season opened with success in the Super Cup.

The Cause

BOF is an association based in Imola in the province of Bologna. Imola is known worldwide for its racetrack which has hosted international sporting events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix or concerts of well-known musical groups / singers worldwide.

This year, in addition to what has just been described, the association also wants to support the "NeverGiveUp Memorial Nicola Ussia". This project was born in 2015 from the family's desire to remember the father Nicola, who died in 2009 from a heart attack. The aim of NeverGiveUp is to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases prevention. Every year the association organizes a fundraising event. Thanks to the money collected during the event, 7 defibrillators were donated to local Sports Associations and Educational Institutes.

However, due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, the 6th NeverGiveUp Memorial Nicola Ussia will not be able to take place in June. Nonetheless, thanks to the support of the BOF Association, a new initiative was conceived: a charity auction of sports memorabilia whose proceeds will be destined for the "Spesa Solidale" and the purchase of a new defibrillator.
