Ozzy Osbourne is an English singer, songwriter and television personality who was the lead vocalist for the heavy metal band, Black Sabbath. Osbourne rose to fame in the 1970s for his horror-inspired lyrics and occult themes. In 1979, Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath and started his solo-career where he released 12 studio albums. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Black Sabbath and the UK Music Hall of Fame as a solo-artist.
