Original woolly Mammoth hair in collector's box.

Take home this collector's box containing a tuft of woolly Mammoth hair. The specimen comes from a well-preserved woolly mammoth discovered near the Indigirka River in Siberia (Russia), radiocarbon dated back to 19,551 years.

The woolly mammoth is an extinct species of elephant. It lived from 200,000 to about 5,000 years ago, in the Pleistocene, in Europe, Asia and North America. It is one of the Mammoth species that became extinct in relatively recent times.

An information card is also included with the precious item, serving as a certificate of authenticity.
